– unique solution very well received: “Exceeded all my expectations” When Sweden’s first Komatsu road grader, the brand new GD675-7, was to be adapted to Nordic conditions, Mählers was selected to carry out the work.
The new GD675-7 road grader has been equipped with unique, specially made attachment points for side ploughs, snow guards and gravel spreaders – adapted for all kinds of construction and road maintenance work all year round. CD Entreprenad’s new road grader has been fully operational in northern Dalarna since February.
“The fit and dimensions of the products were just two of the reasons why Mählers was the obvious choice for us when it came to adapting the road grader to Nordic conditions. The team in Rossön are responsive and service-oriented, while the products always fit, work in all weathers and are made to last,” says Christer Dalmans, CEO and founder of CD Entreprenad.
Collaboration behind the unique Swedish-Japanese road grader
When CD Entreprenad in Malung ordered its new road grader, development work was initiated alongside Mählers and the Komatsu importer, Söderberg & Haak.
The aim was to equip it to cope with Nordic conditions. In addition to LED lamps, engine heater and front blade, Mählers’ custom-made side wing, snow and gravel guards and
gravel spreader were also installed. The completed and operational road grader is now fully equipped for all kinds of construction and road maintenance jobs, both in summer and winter.
“We are incredibly proud to have been involved in this unique road grader. The collaboration with CD Entreprenad and Söderberg & Haak has been a great success. The Komatsu is genuinely ready to deal with every possible situation,” says Ingemar Nyberg, CEO of Mählers.
CD Entreprenad’s new Komatsu has also had the opportunity to show its hand working in and around Malung and Sälen in Dalarna, and Christer Dalmans sums up the purchase of the new road grader as a success.
“We have already completed some 850 hours of work with the Komatsu, and so far it is exceeding all our expectations. This is true both when it comes to winter grading with Mählers’ wing and snow guard, as well as work on gravel roads with Mählers’ gravel spreader,” says Christer Dalmans.
Ingemar Nyberg also sums up the collaboration between machine supplier, customer and Mählers as a success.
“This type of interaction is one of the things that makes Mählers special. Collaboration is key when it comes to achieving the best end result and a satisfied end customer, regardless of the machine brand,” considers Ingemar Nyberg.
