With this privacy policy, we would like to let you know how your personal data will be processed by engcon. This policy applies to all information that is gathered in connection with your request, order or purchase at engcon through the use of our website, submitted form(s) or subscriptions.

What personal data do we process
engcon processes personal data that you have given us, which we then collect from our website or receive from a third party within the framework of our business network. When you submit a request or make a purchase from us, you will be asked to provide us with information, likewise when you register, using any of our forms. But, there could be other reasons where you might provide information to engcon. The information you provide may include your name, photo, IP address, personal identity number, contact & address information, personal preferences, telephone number etc.
For what purposes do we process your data
We process your contact information in order to manage requests you send us and any agreements that we have with you, as well as to be able to provide you with information and service in connection with such requests or agreements. This can, for example, include order enquiries for our services or products, training that you wish to participate in, lotteries/competitions or subscriptions.
Your personal data can also be used for marketing purposes or follow-up, as well as by our sales & product development in order to improve our services and products. In cases where you do not want to participate in marketing and/or offers, please contact our personal data officer.

Legal basis for processing and retention period
engcon always processes your personal data in accordance with applicable laws. We process your personal data when it is necessary to fulfil an agreement with you and when we have a legitimate and justifiable interest for processing your personal data, e.g. an interest in marketing us to website visitors or an interest in developing our website or our services and/or products. Should we need to process your personal data for any purpose that, according to applicable laws, requires your consent, we would first get your consent before starting any such processing.
The information that we gather, in regard to that stated above, is deleted when the purpose for processing it is completed.

engcon can hire external partners to execute tasks on our behalf, e.g. maintain IT services or help with marketing, administrate press releases, analyses or statistics. Performance of these services may mean that our partners, both within the EU/EEA and outside of the EU/EEA will have access to your personal data. Companies that process personal data on our behalf must always sign an agreement with us, so that we can ensure a high level of protection for your personal data, even from our partners.

engcon will not disclose your personal data to any greater extent than that which has been described in this section.
Your rights and the right to lodge a complaint
You have the right, in accordance with applicable personal data protection regulations, to, at any time, request access to personal data that has been processed on you, have incorrect personal data corrected, have engcon stop processing as well as delete your personal data, have your personal data limited, exercise your right to data portability, withdraw a consent to specific processing (where consent has been given) as well as object to the processing of personal data. If you want to change how we process your information
Should you wish to change the processing of your information and how we maintain contact with you, please contact our data protection officer at gdpr@mahlers.se and describe your matter and which information you wish to change, and do likewise to unsubscribe from our customer magazine or newsletter, be removed from our business records etc. Note that if and when you have this removed, valuable information can be lost, such as guarantees or other contractual services, as we will have lost all traces of you.
